It's about to happen . . . I can feel it. Santa is about to arrive and establish a new reign of toys to our house. We have spent the last few days preparing, throwing out, organizing and evaluating our house to make way. Actually it has been a good thing. It has given our family a chance to spend some great time together. I've laughed with my kids as well as at them. I've helped them do stuff and learn stuff. It's been fun.

Tonight, we actually made a birthday cookie/cake for Jesus and sang happy birthday to Him. After we sang, Emily, Caleb, Ellie and I prayed while Ensley yelled for another taste of icing the whole time. (Tip: Don't give your 1 1/2 year old daughter icing right before you start praying with your family.) I guess the best thing I can say is - Have a great Christmas. Make room in your life for the Reign of Christ this year.

Passion is going to be great!

EXAM WEEK IS OVER. IT'S MY SINCERE HOPE THAT YOU GUYS DID WELL IN SCHOOL. SOME OF YOU ARE STILL LABORING AWAY TO FINISH LAST MINUTE OR EXTENDED CLASSWORK. I PRAY THAT GOES WELL FOR YOU TOO.

ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT HAVING A BREAK? (DUH) I HOPE YOU WILL LOOK BACK ON THIS SEMESTER WITH ALL ITS VICTORIES AND HARDSHIPS WITH GREAT JOY. I KNOW THINGS HAVE NOT BEEN PERFECT, BUT GOD WAS (AND IS) STILL IN CONTROL.

PLEASE PRAY FOR GOD'S SPIRIT TO RENEW YOU (AND ME) OVER THE BREAK AS WELL AS PRAYING THAT YOU WOULD BE PREPARED FOR NEXT SEMESTER ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO LIVING AND LOVING GOD WHILE YOU ARE A STUDENT AT THE U OF M.
